Daily maintenance contents and precautions for laser cutting machines


Before starting the laser cutting machine, check whether the protective lenses are clean and free from contamination to ensure the stable performance of the laser.

2. Check the pressure of the cooling water to ensure its stability.

3. Check the temperature of the cooling water to ensure it is within the suitable range for the laser.

4. Check the oil level height inside the laser vacuum pump. If it is insufficient, add oil.

5. Check for any leakage in the oil, water and gas circuits of the laser.


Weekly maintenance contents and precautions for laser cutting machines


1. Check whether there is oil and water in the gas mixing device of the laser. If so, clean it in time.

2. Inspect the laser gas drying filter. Check whether there is dust on components such as the cabinet and the body. You can use an air compressor fan to clean it in time.

3. Check whether there are impurities in the filter of the cooler and the laser cooling water circuit, clean the exhaust screen of the chiller and the internal screen of the chiller, and keep the mesh holes transparent to achieve a better cooling effect.

4. Before starting the laser cutting machine, check whether the water volume of the chiller is above the water level line. If it is insufficient, add distilled water or purified water in time.

5. Check the condensate water level in the compressed air separator (located in the air supply device). When the pump is in a cold state, the oil level should be between 5mm and 0mm from the center line of the oil window. Add oil if necessary.



Monthly maintenance contents and precautions for laser cutting machines


Before starting the laser cutting machine, check the lubricating oil filling conditions of the X-axis guide rail and lead screw, Y-axis guide rail and lead screw, and Z-axis guide rail and lead screw. If there is no lubricating oil, lubricate them in time. The Z-axis ball screw and linear guide rail need to be lubricated with grease every month.

2. Check whether the water quality inside the chiller is good. Try to replace all the cooling water once a month, which can effectively reduce the corrosion and blockage of core components such as cutting heads.

3. Depending on the workshop environment conditions, inspect the contamination on the surfaces of the reflectors and focusing lenses irregularly (at least once a month), and clean the optical lenses in a timely manner to ensure their service life.



Half-year maintenance content and precautions for laser cutting machines (or after 2000 hours of operation)


Check whether the cooling water pipeline of the laser head is corroded, whether the oil tank of the excitation power supply is leaking oil, and whether the high-voltage cable is damaged.

2. Inspect and clean the interior of the laser resonator and all lenses, including the front window rearview mirror, rearview mirror, reflector, etc.

After cleaning the internal lenses of the laser, the light output mode of the laser should be readjust until the correct mode is achieved.

4. Replace the vacuum pump oil and Roots pump oil, clean the plug and apply silicone grease to its inner surface.
